Laser Etching

Laser Etching is the practice of using lasers to engrave an object. The technique does not involve the use of inks, nor does it involve tool bits which contact the engraving surface and wear out. These properties distinguish laser etching from alternative engraving or marking technologies where inks or tool bit heads have to be replaced regularly.
Rhein Precision can offer laser etching on metal alloys, and opaque plastics, this is good for part identification, 3D barcode, as well as product branding. It is permanent and will not rub off like screen printing inks or pad dyes.
